The hotel is situated in one of the first residential buildings
built in Barcelona's Eixample district by Catalan architect Josep
Cerdà. Built in 1864 in an eclectic style of classical inspiration,
it has been classified as a historic monument. It is the only building
that still retains the splendid paintings and ornaments of the original
façade, which has been totally renovated.
The hotel is furnished in a modern and elegant style. It has 124
rooms equipped with all comforts and amenities: parquet flooring
and wooden furniture, air conditioning, heating, satellite TV, direct
dial telephone, safe-deposit box and fully equipped marble bathroom
with direct dial telephone and hair dryer.
